The Challenge
They are up against large competitors (i.e. HelloFresh), funded by venture capitalists who use loss-leading giveaway deals.
The client had been testing these types of deals, but found that customer retention was low after the initial deal ended.
They’d been successful with local radio ads, but had done no online digital advertising - which is were We Are Purple Dog stepped in.
The Strategy
We were tasked with developing a full paid media strategy, and implementing it in order to achieve their desired revenue goals.
Thanks to our retention funnel they were able to go from an average of 3 orders per person to 7, increasing the customer lifetime value from $247 to $511.
